The presentation will discuss how teachers can move past static written comments on the paper that are often ignored and tossed aside, to engaging students on how to improve their own writing through audio feedback. We will discuss various types of feedback and the impact it has on both students and teachers. We will then explore how teachers can transition to using audio feedback via Kaizena (free online program that communicates with Google Docs and Google Classroom). Teachers are encouraged to bring a device in order to explore and troubleshoot the programs for immediate implementation in the classroom.
