Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Create engaging STEAM lessons designed to enhance and encourage all students to embrace the processes essential in STEAM: Science – Technology – Engineering – Arts – Math education while making them accessible to learners who require adaptations in order to access information. Embrace the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) educational framework to provide accessible educational materials for all. Particular emphasis will be placed on tangible adaptations to meet the needs of students with special needs via the development of math, science, art, and literacy kits that have been anchored with books and extended with hands-on low tech and high tech activities. Participants will walk away from this session with an extensive digital toolkit of resources, references, and how-to’s in order to build up STEAM!
